Administrative Division of Governorates in Oman

The Sultanate of Oman is one of the Arab countries known for its precise administrative organization and clear geographical division. The Sultanate is administratively divided into 11 governorates, each forming an independent administrative unit with a number of wilayats (states), bringing the total number of wilayats in the Sultanate to 63 wilayats .
